Key Responsibilities

As a part-time insurance agent, you will:

  • Identify and connect with potential clients through referrals, networking, and other prospecting methods.
  • Offer customized health insurance and life insurance products tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Educate clients on Medicare, disability insurance, annuities, and additional services as their needs evolve.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to explain complex insurance policies in a simple, relatable way.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is:

  • Self-Motivated: Able to work independently and take ownership of their career.
  • Experienced in Insurance Sales: Prior insurance agent jobs or sales representative roles are a plus but not required.
  • Licensed: A valid health insurance license, life insurance license or both is preferred. Assistance with licensing is available for qualified candidates.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiar with social media and online platforms to connect with clients.
  • Educated: A high school diploma is required, but experience in a related field is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Agent Salaries: This is a 1099, commission only position, but many part time agents make around $20,000 to $75,000+ annually, based on part-time effort and results. Results are not guaranteed.
