Key Responsibilities

As a life insurance sales agent, you will:

  • Connect with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored insurance options.
  • Sell a variety of life insurance products, including term life, final expense, indexed universal life, and whole life policies. We also have access to a full line of health insurance products such as dental, Medicare, hospital indemnity and vision insurance.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to educate clients on the benefits of securing their financial future.
  • Retain and grow your book of business by cultivating long-term client relationships.
  • Use proven sales opportunities to upsell and cross-sell insurance products and services.
  • Collaborate with other team members and leverage the support of a community of like-minded agents.
  • Learn to navigate the independent agent world by working closely with your wholesaler to tailor fit solutions based on your client’s needs.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is:

  • Self-Motivated: You are driven to succeed and take ownership of your business.
  • Experienced in Sales: At least 2 years of sales experience as a sales associate, insurance sales representative, or similar role in healthcare, property & casualty or financial planning.
  • Knowledgeable about life insurance products, insurance solutions, and the underwriting process.
  • Licensed: A valid life insurance license is required.
  • A skilled communicator with a strong focus on customer service and relationship-building.

Compensation

  • Commission-Only Pay Range: $0 – $150,000+ annually (based on performance).
